Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Black History Month, etc., etc. for all the holidays I may have missed while not blogging over the past few months.  But now, I’m baaaack…!

Admit it – sometimes, we’re just downright stubborn.  Though we know what we should do, we woefully lament that we’re not doing it – yet.  Whassup with that?!  We hit the snooze button on the alarm clock when we know it’s waaay past time for us to get up and still be on time to our appointed destination.  (Yeah, I’m preaching to myself here; I repent, Lord!).  We deceive ourselves by saying, “This is the LAST TIME I’m gonna do this…” but we know that it really isn’t.  It’s just the last time – until the next time.

When does the madness end?  When do we draw a line in the sand?  When do we commit to walk in consistent obedience to God’s will for our lives, sacrificing our own personal wants and desired comforts?  Does it have to come to something drastic?  Or will we yield to the gentle (yet firm) nudges of the Holy Spirit, birthed out of God’s great love for us as His children?

As saints of the Most High, we must realize the urgency of the hour.  It’s no longer “business as usual” – if it ever was.  It is altogether possible that we might not have a second chance if we don’t seize the current opportunity being presented to us.  I encourage each reader to begin TODAY (and right now) on something that’s been put off for too long.  You just don’t know who is depending on you to be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right people.  If this message sounds serious, I believe it is.  For me, it was like getting an e-mail with an exclamation mark from the Throne Room.  I implore you, don’t hit the snooze button again – get up and GET MOVING in the direction God is showing you!  Souls are in the balance – maybe even your own.
