It’s all about perspective. 

Why am I doing this?

Is there another way this can be done?

Is this a wise investment of my resources (time, energy, talent, money, etc.)? 

Am I trying to do God’s thing MY WAY?

I’m learning to distinguish between my own desires and the will of the Father. I’ve also learned that my own desires can be pretty loud!

Vain efforts are not productive. May we continue to obey God’s instructions and reap the rewards.

“3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
