It’s a process, but God is delivering me from FOMO (fear of missing out) – and I couldn’t be more grateful!
I realized I’d be just fine if I let a recent opportunity presented in my inbox pass me by.
That may seem like a small thing, but when I see shiny objects, I tend to reach.
Read about what I consider an UN-Giftβ¦π«ππ
But I guess my discipline is kicking in with maturity. (About time!)π Because I realize that even if I wanted to, I don’t have the capacity to consume everything that comes my way.
So I’m learning to be at peace while letting a perceived gift/treat/offer go by. This is a new phase of my spiritual walk, and I welcome it! Because it’s neither productive nor fruitful being led by your natural desires – gotta get the mastery.
Gotta kill that lust or itβll lead ya astrayβ¦
Blessings, Kayren ππ½π
β12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.β
