This is what my healthy breakfast looks like at 10pm the prior night. When I DON’T plan ahead, I may fall into the trap of convenience (that looks a lot like leftover from lunch tater tots and ketchup, or whatever I can grab quickly between meetings). Then I’m grouchy and hangry because I unwisely picked something that neither satisfied nor adequately nourished me. Can you relate?😏

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.”
(Exodus 23:20)
“So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.”
TRUTH is one size fits ALL. So what are YOU wearing today? #Selah #SelfCheck
“For there is no respect of persons with God.”
(Romans 2:11)
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”
YES is also a complete sentence! I’m learning that I don’t always have to justify or explain myself. Most folks just aren’t that interested in our reasons or in our reasoning. So free yourself and keep it movin’ with the joy of the Lord! We can say YES with a smile and the love of Christ! #PermissionGranted#ButIWasACommunicationsMajor #SouthernBelle
“But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”
It took me decades (literally) to learn this lesson, but when I finally internalized it, I was empowered: NO is a complete sentence.#unapologetic #ButIWasACommunicationsMajor
If you’re honest with yourself, you probably can’t count the times you’ve SAID one thing with your mouth, but really felt a different way on the inside. Or am I really the only one?!? Today, let’s walk in the light of TRUTH and cut out the inner conflict, guilt, remorse, resentment, and angst. We can say NO with the love of Christ! #PermissionGranted
“All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one”
Once more for good measure; I’m saying it a third time until we EMBRACE it for ourselves…
Sometimes we say YES to ourselves by saying NO to something (or someone) else. Conversely, sometimes we say NO to ourselves by saying YES to something (or someone) else. #Simplify&Streamline
“All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”
Nope, you’re not seeing double; I’m saying it AGAIN until we believe it for ourselves…

“All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”
Sometimes we say YES to ourselves by saying NO to something (or someone) else. As a recovering people-pleaser (read more about PPD – People Pleasing Disorder), I’m learning to proactively practice setting healthy boundaries. Some days I do better honoring those boundaries than others! Choosing to intentionally “say yes to nothing else” for a given timeframe helps me filter out unnecessary commitments – or at least identify them. Then I’m in a better position to handle what’s already on my plate. #Simplify&Streamline #Unapologetic #SelfCareIsNOTselfish
I’d love for you to drop me a comment to share how you choose wisely between priorities that compete for your time, energy, and focus! Blessings, Kayren
